ข่าว ยาน Blue Ghost ถ่ายภาพสุริยุปราคา (โลกบังดวงอาทิตย์) จากดวงจันทร์เป็นครั้งแรก

ความคืบหน้าของ ยาน Blue Ghost ของบริษัท Firefly Aerospace ทำภารกิจให้ NASA บินไปลงพื้นผิวดวงจันทร์เมื่อวันที่ 2 มีนาคม 2025 ที่ผ่านมา หลังลงจอดแล้วยานต้องปฏิบัติภารกิจด้านวิทยาศาสตร์หลายอย่างบนพื้นผิวดวงจันทร์

ล่าสุดเมื่อคืนนี้ ยาน Blue Ghost มีโอกาสได้เห็นและถ่ายภาพ "สุริยุปราคา" จากดวงจันทร์ (ในที่นี้คือ โลกโคจรมาบังดวงอาทิตย์) เป็นครั้งแรก และถือเป็นครั้งแรกที่มนุษยชาติมีโอกาสได้มองเห็นสุริยุปราคาจากดวงจันทร์ด้วยเช่นกัน (เป็นภาพสุริยุปราคาแบบแหวนเพชรหรือ diamond ring จึงยังมีแสงอยู่บ้าง)

นอกจากกล้องที่ถ่ายภาพดวงอาทิตย์โดยตรงแล้ว กล้องตัวอื่นๆ บนยาน Blue Ghost ยังถ่ายภาพบรรยากาศบนพื้นผิวของดวงจันทร์ที่เป็นสีแดง (มองจากโลกเรียก Blood Moon) ด้วย
