Changelog: 1.5.6- Admin CP Edit Fix: Resolved an issue where editing and saving an existing quiz via the Admin CP would incorrectly create a duplicate entry instead of updating the original one.
- Admin CP Category Dropdown: Fixed a bug that caused the Category selection dropdown to appear empty when editing a quiz from the Admin panel.
- XP & Level Synchronization: Unified the XP calculation engine across the entire board. The Global Podium, the Top Users widget, and the Postbit User Levels are now perfectly synchronized and will strictly count points earned from "visible" quizzes only.
- Widget UI Improvements: Fixed a minor visual glitch with the border-radius on the Top Users widget and added full support for the new Dark Glass UI mode.
1. Stunning "Dark Glass UI" Mode (PRO Exclusive)We have introduced a completely new rendering engine for dark themes! If you run a dark style on your board, you can now enable the "Glass UI" from the Admin CP. This applies a gorgeous, modern Glassmorphism effect (blurred semi-transparent backgrounds, neon-glowing badges, and sleek borders) to all Quiz pages (Index, View, Take, Leaderboard, Results).This is a PRO-only feature and a great way to make your community look incredibly premium.
2. Global Podium & Individual Quiz LeaderboardsThe Quiz Index page just got a massive visual upgrade! We've added a dynamic, 3D-style podium that showcases the Top 3 players globally based on their total XP points. Additionally, a public leaderboard system is now available for each individual quiz, boosting user engagement and competition.
3. "View Results" Dashboard for Authors & AdminsThis was a highly requested feature! Quiz authors (and Administrators) now have a dedicated "Results" button on their quizzes. This opens a private dashboard showing exactly who took the quiz, their exact score, pass/fail status, and the date. To handle large quizzes, we also built-in a Pagination system and a Search Bar.
4. Bug Fixes & Submission Flow ImprovementsWe completely rebuilt the quiz submission flow to fix some technical behaviors and improve reliability:- No more popups: Submitting a quiz now safely redirects the user to a dedicated, full-page Result Dashboard, rather than opening a quick AJAX popup.
- BFCache Blocking: If a user tries to hit the "Back" button in their browser after finishing a quiz, the system intercepts it, forces a hard page reload, and clears the inputs. This prevents duplicate or altered submissions and locks the user out if they have exhausted their max attempts.
5. Beautiful "Max Attempts Reached" Page When a user runs out of allowed attempts for a specific quiz, they will no longer see a generic error. We built a beautiful, dedicated landing page (fully compatible with the new Glass UI) that clearly shows their used attempts and guides them back to the quiz list.Version 1.5.3
- Improved User Experience (Free Users): We have removed the intrusive overlay popup for free users. Limits are now handled more gracefully without interrupting navigation.
- Visual Fixes: Fixed a graphical issue where icons in Quiz Results were not displaying correctly. The layout is now consistent.
- Category View Restored: Restored the classic, highly appreciated graphical style for the Category Grid (white cards with gradient icons and "Open Category" buttons).
- Admin Analytics Teaser: Admins without a Pro license can now see a preview of the Analytics section in the Quiz Index (displayed with a blurred visual effect), while Pro users get full access.
- Template & Code Updates: Fixed specific bugs within the template code and updated the syntax to fully comply with XenForo 2.3.9 specifications.
- Performance: General code refactoring, optimization, and cleanup for better performance and stability.
- Full XML Sitemap Integration Your quizzes are no longer hidden from search engines!
