Hugging Face อาจเป็นที่รู้จักในฐานะแหล่งรวมโมเดล AI ขนาดใหญ่ของโลก แต่จริงๆ แล้ว Hugging Face เริ่มขยับขยายธุรกิจมาทำเรื่องหุ่นยนต์สักระยะหนึ่งภายใต้ชื่อ LeRobot และล่าสุดเพิ่งซื้อกิจการ Pollen บริษัทหุ่นยนต์ที่พัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มร่วมกัน

ล่าสุด Hugging Face เปิดตัวหุ่นยนต์ที่พัฒนาร่วมกับพาร์ทเนอร์ 3 รุ่น มีจุดเด่นคือเปิดสเปกฮาร์ดแวร์และซอร์สโค้ดเป็นโอเพนซอร์ส รวมถึงตั้งราคาถูกด้วย

SO-101 หุ่นยนต์แขนกล (robotic arm) ที่พัฒนาร่วมกับบริษัทหุ่นยนต์จากฝรั่งเศส The Robot Studio ราคาเริ่มต้นที่ 100 ดอลลาร์ไปจนถึง 500 ดอลลาร์
HopeJR หุ่นยนต์รูปร่างแบบมนุษย์ (humanoid robot) ร่วมพัฒนากับ The Robot Studio เช่นกัน ขายในราคาถูก 3,000 ดอลลาร์ เทียบกับหุ่นแบบเดียวกันในตลาดอย่าง Unitree G1 ที่ขาย 16,000 ดอลลาร์ - GitHub
