แอปเปิลเริ่มขายเฮดเซต Apple Vision Pro ในสหรัฐอเมริกาตั้งแต่วันศุกร์ที่ 2 กุมภาพันธ์ ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งตามกฎนั้นลูกค้าสามารถนำอุปกรณ์มาขอคืนเงินได้ภายใน 14 วัน ทำให้วันศุกร์ที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ เป็นวันสุดท้ายสำหรับผู้ซื้อกลุ่มแรกที่จะทำเรื่องขอคืนเงิน และดูเหมือนจะนำมาคืนกันเยอะด้วย

เว็บไซต์ Cult of Mac รวบรวมข้อมูลใน X พบว่าบัญชีผู้ใช้งานที่มีชื่อเสียงหลายคน ก็ประกาศหรือนำ Vision Pro ไปขอคืนเงินกันบ้างแล้ว โดยเหตุผลยอดนิยมคือ หนัก สวมใส่ไม่สบาย เวลาใช้งานรู้สึกโดดเดี่ยว และหากรณีเพื่อใช้งานทุกวันไม่ได้

ส่วน ZeroHedge พบว่าใน Google Trends คำค้นหาเกี่ยวกับกฎการขอคืนสินค้า โดยเฉพาะ Vision Pro มีจำนวนเพิ่มมากขึ้นในช่วงสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา

หลายความเห็นบอกว่าเทคโนโลยีใน Vision Pro นั้นดีมาก แต่พบว่ายังหาเหตุผลไม่ได้มากพอที่จะใช้งานต่อไป เป็นไปได้ว่าภาพการใช้งานจะชัดเจนมากกว่าขึ้นในรุ่นถัดไปมากกว่า ทั้งนี้ก่อนหน้ามีข้อมูลว่า Vision Pro ขายไปได้ในช่วงแรกประมาณ 180,000 ชุด ซึ่งต้องรอดูว่าจำนวนที่มาทำเรื่องขอคืนเงินมีมากแค่ไหน
