Salesforce เริ่มบล็อคการเข้าถึง API ของแอพแชท Slack เพื่อป้องกันโมเดลภาษา LLM ดูดไปใช้งาน

ในเอกสาร เงื่อนไขการใช้งาน Slack API เพิ่มหัวข้อใหม่ Data Usage เขียนระบุข้อความไว้ชัดเจนว่า

You may not: (A) use API Data to train a large language model; (B) bulk export Slack message and file data except where expressly allowed by an additional agreement, such as by Applications using the Discovery API for approved security and compliance use cases; or (C) use data collected from one organisation to directly benefit a different organisation or any third party.

การปรับเงื่อนไขของ Slack API ส่งผลกระทบต่อแอพบางตัวที่ดูดข้อมูลแหล่งต่างๆ ขององค์กรมาเทรน AI เช่น Glean ที่ส่งอีเมลแจ้งลูกค้าว่าจะไม่สามารถดูดข้อความแชทใน Slack มาใช้งานได้อีกต่อไป

Slack แนะนำให้ดึงข้อมูลผ่าน API อีกตัวคือ Real-time Search API ซึ่งมีลักษณะเป็นการ search ข้อมูลเป็นบางส่วน แทนการดึงข้อมูลทั้งหมด โดย Slack ให้เหตุผลว่าเป็นการคุ้มครองข้อมูลของลูกค้า จะได้ไม่ต้อง export ข้อมูลชุดใหญ่ออกมาประมวลผลให้เสี่ยงต่อการรั่วไหล
