vBulletin Announcements

ข่าวสารจาก [www.vbulletin.com]
The vBulletin team plans to release the vBulletin 4.0 Forums and vBulletin 4.0 Publishing Suite Gold Release on or before Monday, December 21, 2009. Starting on the date of the Gold release, vBulletin 4.0 Forums and Publishing Suite will become officially supported products. This means that vBulletin 4.0 will be eligible for both ticket support and phone support. As we work toward the Gold release, our goal is to get the best possible product into the hands of our customers. To do this, we’ve made huge investments in development resources and have been maintaining an extremely rigorous scrub schedule, identifying and fixing bugs at an unprecedented rate. Since the release of the first vBulletin 4.0 public beta in mid-November...
[SIZE=2]Today we're announcing the availability of Release Candidate 4 of vBulletin 4.0 Publishing Suite and vBulletin 4.0 Forum. If you have an active vBulletin license, you can download your copy of RC4 from the vBulletin Members Area at: http://members.vbulletin.com[SIZE=2] . You may be wondering why we skipped releasing RC3 after releasing RC2 this past Friday. We started on RC3 last week and launched it on vBulletin.com yesterday. We have already fixed more than 50 bugs since we started RC3; therefore, I wanted to make sure you all had access to the latest build with RC4. There are still two known issues with the RC4 release that are important to be aware of. The fixes for these issues are currently being tested. If these issues...

[SIZE=4]vBulletin 3.8.4 PL1 / 3.7.6 PL1 / 3.6.12 PL2 An XSS flaw within the user profile page has recently been discovered. This could allow an attacker to carry out an action as a user or obtain access to a user's account. To resolve this issue, it has been necessary to release a patch level version of the active versions of vBulletin. The upgrade process is the same as previous patch level releases - simply download the patch from the Members Area, extract the files and upload to your webserver, overwriting the existing files. There is no upgrade script required. As with all security-based releases, we recommend that all customers upgrade as soon as possible in order to prevent any potential damage resulting from the flaw being...
[SIZE=4]vBulletin 3.8.3 Although it's a little late according to the published release timetable, having been somewhat delayed by the effort being redirected toward preparing vBulletin 4.0 for its debut, vBulletin 3.8.3 is a maintenance version, rounding up all the bugs and issues fixed by the development team since the release of 3.8.2 at the end of March. Please accept our apologies for the delay in bringing you this potentially final version of vBulletin 3.x. Resources are now almost exclusively dedicated to vBulletin 4.0 and we thank you for your ongoing patience. Issues resolved by 3.8.3 include the following: Date picker in private message filter ignores start of week preference [27516] Last post title on profile page...
