Our developers have been hard at work providing a large number of fixes, improvements and features which we'd like to share with you today. We are proud to announce the release of vBulletin 5.0.3. With this release we have made it a point to target performance issues within the software, as well as stability issues. We would like to encourage all users on vBulletin 5.0.x to upgrade to this release as soon as possible. This release also addresses issues with pagination that some customers were having, in order to fully resolve the issue after upgrading you need to login to the Administrator Control Panel and run the Rebuild Topic Information tool under Maintenance -> General Update Tools. vBulletin 5 Security Patch: 502pl1 – 5/22/13 #1 Today, 6:05am This patch addresses three important issues. All were found after the launch of 5.0.2. One fix corrects the importing of closed threads. Another fix addresses a potential infinite redirection loop that could possibly occur in the conversation route. A method was repaired when it was found to be vulnerable to a potential SQL Injection. This patch affects only vBulletin 5.0.2. vBulletin 3, vBulletin 4, vBulletin 5.0.0 and vBulletin 5.0.1 are not affected. It’s highly recommend you take advantage of this patch. This latest update of vBulletin 5 Connect includes well over 440 bug fixes and enhancements to the product. Most of these fixes and updates focused on: Performance Optimization – incremental improvements over 5.0 and 5.0.1 in terms of speed and load times. Optimization of slow queries and improved caching were two of the primary categories that were targeted to bring about these changes. PHP 5.4 Support for vBulletin 3 (cont'd) Recently, we announced that an alpha build for vBulletin 3.8.8 had been made available for all customers with active (vB4 and vB5) licenses.
